Logan Sargeant currently occupies the second seat at Williams. However, the 23-year-old American driver has faced challenges in the 2024 season, sitting at the bottom of the driver standings with zero points. Despite his potential, Sargeant’s inconsistent performances have raised concerns within the team.

The Three Contenders for Williams
Vowles revealed that he is considering approximately three options for the 2025 and 2026 seasons. While retaining Sargeant remains one of those options, Williams is actively exploring other possibilities. Let’s take a closer look at the contenders:
- Logan Sargeant: As mentioned earlier, Sargeant has control over his performance. If he can elevate his game and demonstrate consistent results, he could secure the seat for another season.
- Andrea Kimi Antonelli: Multiple reports have linked discussions to Mercedes junior driver Andrea Kimi Antonelli. The Italian talent currently competes in Formula Two and could be a strong candidate to partner with Albon.
- Valtteri Bottas: Another potential contender is veteran Formula One driver Valtteri Bottas, who currently drives for Sauber. Bottas brings experience and a proven track record, making him an attractive option for Williams.
