Eric Andre recently did a segment with WWE star, John Cena on The Eric Andre Show. But it did not go well as planned with Eric Andre suffering a concussion at the hands of the 16-time world Champion.
Eric Andre reveals the incident
Eric Andre appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live recently. Their he opened up on the incident that took place in the segment with John Cena on The Eric Andre Show.
The segment included a stunt which they could not pull off properly. Cena had launched him on set but there were some metal shelves which fell on Andre’s head, knocking him out in the process.
Andre does not blame Cena for this as it was the responsibility of crew for setting up the scene. He said that he ended up having concussion and was admitted in the hospital.

He said, “John Cena did the stunt right, but we prepped for the stunt wrong, that metal shelf came over and clocked me in the head, and I got concussed, and went to the hospital”
He continued, “I went to the hospital immediately. I had like a Bugs Bunny, Fred Flintstone [bump] on the side of my head.”
Jimmy Kimmel also joked that Andre was lucky to have shaved his head for season 5 as it prevented the injury from his previous style, the Afro.

Andre is doing alright now and he shared the story with a smiling face. That segment could have turned into something serious but fortunately Andre did not suffer serious injuries.
Other guests appearing on The Eric Andre Show season 5 are Judy Greer, Blake Griffin, Luis Guzman, Omarion, Adam Rippon, Dermot Mulroney, Tia Carrere, Robin Givens, and Jai Rodriguez.
The fans of the comedy series will have the opportunity to witness John Cena as the new season will premiere on Sunday, October 25.The show is returning after the four years gap on Adult Swim.
