The Miz, the WWE star opened up on UFC star, Daniel Cormier during an interview with TMZ Sports. When asked if the former UFC Heavyweight Champion would be able to shine in WWE, the A-lister ruled it out.

During the interview, he was asked about becoming a Superstar and crossover athletes joining WWE. He then lauded Ronda Rousey, the UFC Hall of Famer.

The Miz said that the transition from an athlete of other sports to become a pro-wrestler is very difficult and many people quit upon their failure.

He then praised Ronda Rousey for her hard work and not people are able to reach the feat that she has within a short period of time. She went onto become the WWE Raw Women’s Champion and was also in WrestleMania.

The Miz said, “It’s very difficult, not many people are able to do it, not many people can be as successful as Ronda Rousey was. She came in and really did a tremendous job in just acclimating to our style of professional wrestling. She did a great job and if he can do that, that’s fantastic, but some people just can’t get it.”

The Miz was asked if Daniel Cormier possesses the charisma that is required for a WWE star, the former Intercontinental Champion came up with an interesting reply. He said, “It takes a little more than charisma to be a successful Superstar.

The Miz gives advice to the quitters

The Miz then reflected on being a WWE star. He said that it is not an easy job to be a pro wrestler. He then recalled the advice that he got when he was in the independent wrestling scene. He said quitting is not the option and he advised the aspiring wrestlers not to give up.

He said, “Stick with it, because there’s a lot of reasons that will tear you apart from it. That’s the best advice I’d ever gotten when I was first starting in WWE, not even in WWE, before WWE when I was in independent wrestling. I asked some Superstars what would be the best advice, the best advice I got was stick with it.”

He said that many people say that they don’t like travelling and wrestling hurts their body. But The Miz said those are all excuses and they should deal with it and move forward.
