Former NBA stalwart and Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal believes Los Angeles Clippers need to take a hard decision in the upcoming NBA offseason and they need to ‘get rid of’ their forward Paul George.
LA Clippers have already taken a massive step before the next season kicks off as they have sacked former head coach Doc Rivers back at the end of September and appointed Tyronn Lue.
Now as the trades make their approach, retired basketball icon Shaquille O’Neal states that the team needs to get rid of Paul George and trade in more solid players in his place.

“They have to get rid of someone,” Shaq said n the podcast, indicating George.
“You gotta use [George] to get two good, solid players. Because I need Kawhi to be the man. I don’t want Kawhi to delegate,” he went on, hailing Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard to take charge on the court.
“When Kawhi was with Toronto, he knew he was the man, everybody knew he was the man. Now you got one guy that thinks he’s the man, one guy that is the man. They got a guy coming off the bench that knows he’s the man.”
“It may look good in certain games, but when you need to slow the game down and do certain things, it never works,” Shaq acknowledged.
LA Clippers finished with 49-23 last season and lost to Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference Semifinals, with Pau George making 48 appearances with 21.5 points per game.
Be that as it may, George has spent just one season with the Clippers, after switching sides from his former team Oklahoma City Thunder in 2019 as the team traded Danilo Gallinari, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and several other draft picks to secure the 30-year-old.
