Bayley, who is the longest reigning SmackDown Women’s Champion, debuted on the main roster in 2016. Since her debut, she has won the WWE Raw Women’s Championship, the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship and the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship, making her the first women’s Triple Crown Champion and Grand Slam winner in WWE history.

CARMELLA REPLACED BAYLEY AS THE CHALLENGER FOR WWE SMACKDOWN WOMEN’S TITLE

At WWE SmackDown Live, Carmella was announced by authority figure Sonya Deville to be the new challenger for the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship. However, the match was pulled from the pay per view event and was instead placed at next week’s episode of WWE’s Friday Night show.

Liv Morgan appeared to interrupt the segment, asking why she did not receive an opportunity herself, despite her constant victories over “The Most Beautiful Woman in WWE”? To it, Deville allowed Morgan a spot in the upcoming Women’s Money In The Bank match. She would replace Carmella, who already received a Championship opportunity.

Morgan then requested Carmella to win the Championship from Belair next week at SmackDown so that she could have the pleasure to cash in on her after her obvious victory in the Women’s Money In The Bank ladder match.
