Roman Reigns is currently entailed in a feud with Edge, who returned recently and they are set to face at upcoming Money In The Bank pay-per-view. Huge matches have been lined up for The Tribal Chief and the battle would Cena would help him cement his legacy as a top star in the company. But, the match is to be set for that which remains a doubt.

Variety recently reported that Cena is set to be a part of “Argyllle.” The film will be starring Henry Cavill, Sam Rockwell, Bryce Dallas Howard, Bryan Cranston, Catherine O’Hara, and Samuel L. Jackson and will see John Cena added to the lineup.

It has been reported that shooting for the film will begin next month in Europe. SummerSlam pay-per-view is set to take place on August 21 and making an appearance for the former WWE Champion might be hard for if he is in Europe shooting that star-studded film.

There are strict quarantine measures in place when entering Europe. So it seems that it will be impossible for John Cena to make any appearances for WWE during the SummerSlam build since he is now involved in such a massive project.

Cena recently concluded the shooting for the Peacemaker HBO Max spin-off series. He also starred in the popular franchise movie, F9 which dropped in the theatres last month.
