RIDDLE AND ROLLINS WILL FACE EACH OTHER DURING THE UPCOMING MEN’S MONEY IN THE BANK LADDER MATCH
Riddle and Rollins are both pushed highly by WWE at the moment, with both qualified for the men’s Money In The Bank ladder match to be held at the upcoming eponymous pay per view event. While Riddle is currently enjoying life as Randy Orton’s tag team partner, Rollins is relishing in his role as “The Messiah”, most recently defeating a bloody Cesaro to qualify for the above-mentioned ladder match.
THE BEGINNING OF THE HEAT
The heat between them began reportedly began with Riddle’s wife Lisa body shamed a number of female WWE superstars, including Becky Lynch. Rollins later commented that he had no intention of facing Riddle in the course of his career. However, the Money In The Bank match will have them face each other, regardless of their wish.
“I’ll be honest, I’ve met Seth multiple times and he’s met me and I don’t think we’ll ever be best friends. I don’t think we like one another, we’re just two different people. We both love wrestling. I know my significant other said something about Becky that they didn’t like and I also did not like or agree with. Seth didn’t like me after that and I don’t think Becky liked me or my wife either, which is understandable. It is what it is,” Riddle commented on the subject.
“THE BRO” TRIED TO APOLOGIZE
After their Survivor Series 5 vs 5 match, “The Original Bro” decided to speak to Rollins and apologize on the behalf of his wife. “I said ‘Hey man, what was said, I don’t agree with it. I thought it was bullcrap. It’s not cool. I just want you to know I apologize, I apologize on her behalf as well. On top of that I think you’re a great performer and if you would ever have it in your heart to work with me, I would love that. And, I know you’re taking some time off because Becky is pregnant, about to have a kid, just want to wish you luck, congratulations, enjoy your time with your beautiful girlfriend, at the time, now wife, and your beautiful child.”
To this apology by the former MMA fighter, Rollins reacted nicely and the conversation ended with the two being in terms where they could work with each other, but the former still believes that they sure would never be friends.
