JOHN CENA IS BEING STRONGLY RUMORED TO APPEAR AT WWE SUMMERSLAM

Rumours point the possibility of “The Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns defend his WWE Universal Championship against Cena at the event on August 21, 2021 at Las Vegas. If Reigns wins, his reign shall become even more solidified and he can move on to the rumoured WrestleMania match against his cousin, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. If “The Franchise Player” manages to dethrone Reigns, then it shall cause the long-standing record of Ric Flair’s World Championship count as acknowledged by WWE to finally break.

Ric Flair’s long-standing record of 16 World Championships is acknowledged by WWE, and is tied only by Cena. Flair himself names 21 World Championship reigns, 5 of which are not recognized by the company. “The Leader Of Cenation” has long been as the man who break the record but has not been able to do it yet. Chances of it happening was thought to be over since Cena stopped being an active professional wrestler to further his Hollywood career. Meanwhile, Randy Orton had been coming close to the record and fans now regarded him as the person to break the record. However, the original option may return if the F9 star appears at Summerslam.
