WWE star Sheamus recently shared his take on the company releasing several top stars of the company and how the locker room has reacted to it. There have been speculations about the morale being down of the stars on the current roster and The Celtic Warrior has now addressed it.

The releases have come by a surprise for many stars and it has impacted the locker room talents. However, the current WWE United States Champion disproved the low morale of the talents during his interview with Vibe and Wrestling.

He also stated the best thing for talent following the releases was to look forward. The veteran star who has been in the company for over a decade believes that the releases are all part of the business and it should be accepted.

He said:“The locker room has got to get on with it. I’ve been in the company 12 years and it is part of the business.”

He added: “I don’t think the moral is down, I think is a lot better that what it used to be when I started. There is a lot more of camaraderie and we have great lads, experienced lads and young lads working together during the pandemic with no fans.”

He further lauded the talents for putting up great effort during the whole pandemic and even said the legends would not have adapted to perform in the ring in these tough circumstances.

Sheamus is eyeing to become a Grand Slam Champion

Sheamus during his WWE stint has been able to capture the WWE and World Heavyweight Championships, the United States Championship and both RAW and Smackdown Tag Team Championships.

However, he has not been able to win the Intercontinental Championship but he revealed that is certainly looking forward to win it and become a Grand Slam Champion.

He said: “I’m always thinking about that, it’s in my target range.” The Intercontinental Championship is currently held by Apollo Crews and perfoms on SmackDown.

The Celtic Warrior said that he does not have a chance to be on SmackDown as he works on the red brand. However, he is not waving off the chances to capture it. He is now enjoying his time on Raw as he is currently entailed in a feud with Ricochet and Humberto Carrillo over the US title.
