Fired WWE Star Pitched Storyline Idea With Cody Rhodes

Mansoor and Mace were among many stars who were released amid the latest budget cuts. They revealed that they pitched plenty of creative ideas during their time with WWE and it would have involved Cody Rhodes.

It has been noted that WWE executed talent cuts and the latest round took place following the completion of their merger with UFC under TKO Group Holdings earlier this month. The two combat sports companies officially completed their merger on September 12 and it led to the formation of a new company called TKO Group Holdings. It has been listed on the New York Stock Exchange.

The merger caused some employees to get released and go and dozens of employees were released in the divisions. On-screen talents were also released few days later.

The former Maximum Male Models were released from their WWE contracts yesterday following a lengthy absence from television. Their last match on RAW took place back in May.

Mace and Mansoor went live on Twitch stream last night following their WWE release and spoke for a few hours about multiple subjects. During the stream, Mansoor revealed a pitch that would have seen Cody Rhodes break his nose and turn him into the “Undashing” character. Here is what was said about Cody Rhodes:

“One of the ideas we had in Maximum Male Models. This almost happened, not this angle, but we did almost work with Cody Rhodes,” Mansoor revealed. “I wanted him to hit me with the Cross Rhodes, and it would break my nose. Then, I could do Undashing.

“I wanted to wear the mask like him and do the angle where I thought I was the ugliest person in the world and a horribly disfigured mutant. Everyone kept saying, ‘We want Male Models to have more edge. We need more aggressive and vicious. What can we do?’ I kept saying, ‘Break my nose. I’m this vicious goblin.’”
