During an episode of ‘WWE Chronicle’ show on the WWE Network, Braun Strowman shared a story on getting permission from the CEO of WWE, Vince McMahon for altering his looks.

Braun Strowman spoke about how he had to discuss the matter and explain his decision to Vince McMahon before making the changes. He spoke about the character transition that he would make.

‘The Monster Among Men’ said, “I called Vince and I said, ‘Vince it’s time to get rid of this crappy hair.’ He’s like, ‘Well, why?’ Well for one, it looks bad and two, I’m about to get a little nasty.”

Braun Strowman got the haircut at Urban Stylez in Orlando. In the episode, sitting on the barber’s chair Braun Stroman said,

“He [Vince] said, ‘Give me a day, I gotta run it through everything to make sure… legalities, licensing and everything. Give me 24 hours, just shoot me a text and I’ll let you know.’ Texted him back the next day, hour or so later he responded with a thumbs up. So it went away.”

Braun is happy with the change that he has brought about with himself and the on-screen character. He believes the old vicious, ruthless and brutal nature of Braun Strowman is back with the character change.

He said, “I think it’s a refresher that Braun needed. We’re getting back to the old Braun, the Braun that made Braun The Monster Among Men.”

Braun Strowman faced off against ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt and Roman Reigns in a No Holds Barred Triple Threat match at WWE Payback pay-per-view this past Sunday.

He attempted to reclaim the WWE Universal Championship, that he had lost at WWE Summerslam. Braun and The Fiend destroyed each other until the ring imploded.

Roman Reigns who recently allied with Paul Heyman, appeared and after several chair shots to Braun Strowman, pinned ‘The Monster Among Men’ to win the title that he never lost in the first place.

Braun Strowman now with the freshly changed character and who is apparently more destructive than his previous stint is set to be one of the top heels on the blue brand.
