Anthony Joshua (26-3, 23 KOs) and Deontay Wilder (43-2-1, 42 KOs), two renowned heavyweight boxers, have reportedly reached an agreement for a two-fight deal, and all goes well, their first match is tentatively set to be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on March 9th.

The news regarding the deal has been broken out in a report made by Dan Rafael, who also stated that this is contingent on their success in their respective fights on the ‘Day of Reckoning’ card in Riyadh this Saturday night.
The blockbuster event this weekend will feature Joshua taking on Otto Wallin in the main event, while Wilder will be locking horns with Joseph Parker in the co-main event.

Provided that both come out of their respective bouts as the winners, the highly anticipated Joshua vs. Wilder event will finally begin to materialize.
However, if even one of them suffers a defeat on Saturday night, then the much awaited battle between the two former heavyweight world champions would once again venture into uncertain territories like it has been in the past.
The grudge between Joshua and Wilder is already steaming up
While they are yet to meet in the squared circle, there is no shortage in the antagonism that the two former champs have for one another. Both Joshua and Wilder have gone at each other multiple times in the past and with the ‘Day of Reckoning’ event approaching, the strife has aggravated more than ever.
Recently, The “Bronze Bomber” claimed that while a fight between the two is under consideration, Joshua lacks the courage to face him in the ring.
“I don’t want to say he’s 100% afraid, but I think he’s 75%,” Wilder told BBC Sport earlier this week. “I’ve learned over the years especially dealing in boxing that nothing is for sure, until it’s for sure. And I know that’s a little bit confusing, but what’s understood doesn’t have to be explained.”
“We’ll see what happens. The future is bright and we are farther [in talks] than we’ve ever been in history. I can say that with certainty,” he added.
