The 2023 Early National Signing Day has been phenomenal with some players fulfilling their dreams and some taking unexpected turns on their commitments. Ohio State Buckeyes, Georgia Bulldogs, and Nebraska Cornhuskers have done some of the best business.
Jeremiah Smith, the top-ranked overall player, stayed true to his verbal agreement with the Buckeyes, despite major efforts from the Miami Hurricanes and Florida State Seminoles. The wide receiver has always wanted to join the Buckeyes and coach Ryan Day is finally relieved after the paperwork has been done and dusted after a little delay.
NEWS – So, Jeremiah Smith is going to Ohio State. He signed. It’s where he wanted to go all along. His NIL rep wanted to make sure everything that needed to go through Ohio State’s collective was signed. That was the delay. Can’t blame anyone for getting it in writing. pic.twitter.com/MLFksylV8D

After Jeremiah committed to the Buckeyes, they turned their attention to five-star edge rusher Eddrick Houston. Eddrick had a long-term verbal commitment with the Buckeyes and now it’s on paper.

In addition to Eddrick and Jeremy, the Buckeyes have also added two five-stars, quarterback Air Noland and wide receiver Mylan Graham.

Mylan Graham – A man of few words, the kid from New Haven, IN would rather let his routes do the talking. Notorious for getting open and finding the endzone and leaving defenders in his dust, Zone 6 is adding a much-welcomed member. Welcome to THE Brotherhood Mylan.… pic.twitter.com/jkQk1Yqo32
