WWE confirms Triple H underwent a successful surgery following cardiac event

Triple H had complained of a ‘cardiac event’ and reports stated that he underwent surgery to fix the issue. Now, WWE officially confirmed and issued a statement.

The fans had been concerned with the health of ‘The Game’ after reports that circulating of his ‘cardiac event’. But, now he is recovering well from the ailment.

WWE stated:

“Paul Levesque, a.k.a. Triple H, underwent a successful procedure last week at Yale New Haven Hospital following a cardiac event. The episode was caused by a genetic heart issue and Paul is expected to make a full recovery.”

Damien Priest jokingly challenged Triple H

Triple H has competed in several matches at WWE’s flagship pay-per-view WrestleMania.  It turns out he was challenged by the current WWE United States Champion, Damian Priest.

Damien Priest recently opened up on a backstage conversation with Triple H. Priest had jokingly put in a last-minute request to face the ‘The Game’. Speaking with Metro, Damian Priest discussed joking around backstage and recalled challenging Triple H to a match at WWE WrestleMania. ‘The Game’ had laughed it off and said that Damien Priest was another star who had challenged him.

Here is what he said:

“‘I make jokes from time to time. Like, hey, Mania – Hunter didn’t have a match, and that was the first time all these legends, none of them [on the show]. I was like, “I mean, did you bring your gear? Because you can have a match, I’m right here!”

He[Triple H] started laughing and said, “You’re on a list of people that have asked me that”. I was like, I bet, I can imagine – he gets it all the time by guys being like, “Hey you wanna work? You wanna wrestle?”, said Damian Priest.

Triple H was not featured at WrestleMania 37 but he was previously heavily rumored to face AJ Styles. Here’s why The Game turned down a match against the former WWE Champion. Damian Priest was featured at this year’s WrestleMania and had teamed with Bad Bunny to take on the team of The Miz and John Morrison.

The former NXT North American Champion and Bad Bunny won the contest. Bad Bunny pinned The Miz after connecting with a cross-body-electric chair combination. Priest is now set to defend the US title against Sheamus at Extreme Rules.
