Sasha Banks, the SmackDown star recently joined Joe Otterson of Variety. She talked about her current run as WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion and how she has been on the top of her game since her brief hiatus.
Sasha Banks feels it is different this time around
During the interview, Sasha Banks spoke on how she found her passion back upon her return. She also praised the fellow stars of the women’s division such as Carmella, Liv Morgan, Ruby Riott, Bianca Belair and Natalya.
The Boss opened up on her desire to face off against the top the stars on the blue brand and also claimed herself to be greatest wrestler of all time.
Banks said, “Being the SmackDown Women’s Champion, that means I am completely the best. I always say ‘I’m the best.’ I really know 100% that I am the greatest wrestler of all time, but I have so many new competitors.”
She added, “I look forward to facing so many new faces, so many new matchups, and it really lets me go to sleep dreaming of excitement for every Friday night knowing what I’m going to have.”

WWE has never stopped airing their weekly shows of Monday Night Raw, NXT or Friday Night SmackDown. They continued to entertain the WWE Universe during these tough times, amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
They also brought the WWE ThunnderDome, so that the fans could have a virtual experience of the WWE shows from their home.Banks lauded the efforts that has been showcased to put smiles on the faces of the fans during the tough situations.
She said, “I think it’s so incredible to see how much hope WWE brings the world and how much that we can just go entertain through these trying times.”
The Boss reflected on her job that enables her to live her dream and make her fans happy.
She said, “It brings me hope and it brings me joy, knowing that I can go into work and legit live my dream and put smiles on people’s faces, and to have the talent and the brotherhood and the sisterhood of my peers. It’s so awesome. I love it.”
WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks is set to face WWE Raw Women’s Champion Asuka at the upcoming WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view.
