NFL Season Highlights (so far)

Now that we’re 4 weeks into the National Football League season, it’s time to take a look back at all the highlights (and lowlights!) so far. In this article we’ll highlight some of the more surprising teams and players who have been surprising so far this season.

Patriots Struggling

Things have seemingly rough for the worse for the Patriots. After starting the season with an poor display, they have since cooled off and are now sitting in last place in their division with a losing record. Following a huge loss to Dolphins, New England has only got one win, and has since then lost to both Ravens and Green Bay in succession. To make matters worse, even though there’s still plenty of time left before playoffs begin (November), chances are slim of this team making it at all this season.

Josh Allen Still On Top

Josh Allen has been on a tear this season. The outstanding runner has helped his team rack over 350 total yards and four touchdowns in his team’s win against Rams. He also ran riot in the second week to win against the Tennessee Titans.

It’s not just his numbers that are impressive—the way he plays is mesmerizing. He has an elite arm that can push the ball downfield with ease, as well as pinpoint accuracy on short throws like check downs and screens near the line of scrimmage that allow him to get into place quickly (or even stay in the pocket if necessary). In addition to that, his running ability gives him an extra layer on his offense since defenders cannot predict what kind of play he’ll try next.

The Texans Poor Performance

The Texans are a team that has been performing very poorly. At .125 percentile and last in the AFC South, there isn’t much to look forward to. In fact, if you live in Houston or follow the Texans in any way whatsoever, it might be time to accept that this season is over and start looking ahead toward next year. They have lost 3 consecutive games of their last 5 games overall and had one draw.

Tua Tagovailoa High Level Plays

The Miami Dolphins quarterback has been a top passer in each of his last games. The 24 year old has been an important agent in the Dolphins performance since the beginning of this season, and that has seen him throw nearly 1,100 yards and 8 touchdowns over his first 4 games this year. With Tua under center, the Dolphins will always be competitive.

There’s something for everyone this season!

There’s no doubt that the NFL is the most popular sport in America. You also have a wide range of teams to root and bet on, with every team representing each city or region of the United States. With several bets opportunity like the NFL spreads, futures and so on.

Conclusion

It’s hard to imagine a season like this without having seen it play out, but we are just as lucky to be able to witness history in the making.
