Pistons 111-113 Nets

Eastern Conference top seed aspirants had their work cut against the bottom placed Detroit Pistons at the Little Caesars Arena.

James Harden dropped 44 points, 8 assists and 14 points in a breathtaking display to edge out the contest by two points.

Jerami Grant top scored for the hosts with 19 points as they slumped to their 32nd defeat of the season.

Bucks 114-122 Celtics

Milwaukee Bucks’ eight-game winning run came to an end after a defeat at the hands of Boston Celtics at the Fiserv Forum.

Jayson Tatum posted 34 points for the visitors who scored 43 points in the third quarter to steal the game away from the Bucks.

Raptors 100-104 Suns

Phoenix Suns emerged victorious in a tight contest against Toronto Raptors at the Amalie Arena.

Deandre Ayton and Chris Paul both recorded 19 points each for the Suns. On the other hand, Pascal Siakam’s 26 points and 11 rebounds went in vain.

Pelicans 108-113 Nuggets

Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray combined to steer Denver Nuggets to victory over New Orleans Pelicans at the Smoothie King Center.

The MVP candidate scored 37 points while Murray recorded 23 points and 11 assists for the winning side.

Zion Williamson’s streak of scoring in excess of 20 points continued with 39 points to his name in a losing effort.

Timberwolves 107-101 Rockets

Karl-Anthony Towns’ 29 points and 16 assists helped Minnesota Timberwolves plunge Houston Rockets back to their losing ways.

Rockets seemed to be in command of the contest until the end of the third quarter. However, a dismal fourth quarter, which only yielded 10 points for the visitors, sealed their fate.

Magic 105-112 Trail Blazers

CJ McCollum and Norman Powell combined to score 44 points in the absence of Damian Lillard. Portland Trailblazers were able to recover from a poor third quarter to win the contest in the end.

This marked Orlando Magic’s 30th defeat of the season, who are now in the 14th spot in the Eastern Conference table.

Hornets 110-105 Heat

Malik Monk’s staggering 32 point effort steered the game in the favour of Charlotte Hornets. The hosts were able to score 40 points in the first quarter, the 17-point deficit was too much to overcome for Miami Heat.

Despite a second half onslaught by the Heat, the Hornets ultimately won the contest by 5 points, taking them to the fourth spot in the table alongwith a three game winning streak.

Mavericks 94-109 Pacers

Dallas Mavericks, playing without Luka Doncic, who was out as a result of a back injury, slipped to a defeat against Indiana Pacers.

Kristaps Porzingis’ 31 points and 18 rebounds ended up being in a losing effort while Domantas Sabonis’ 22 points and 15 rebounds propelled the Pacers to a win.

Jazz 117-114 Grizzlies

League leaders Utah Jazz survived a close call against Memphis Grizzlies at the Vivint Smart Home Arena. Donovan Mitchell racked up 35 points for the hosts, who are now on a four-match winning streak.

Reigning rookie of the year Ja Morant registered 32 points and 11 assists for the losing side.

Warriors 108 – Hawks 124

The absence of Steph Curry continues to make an impact on Golden State Warriors following their third straight loss.

John Collins posted 38 points and 12 rebounds while Trae Young chipped in with 15 assists to his name. Andrew Wiggins notched 29 points for the hosts.

Lakers 100-86 Cavaliers

Los Angeles Lakers snapped out of their losing streak to secure a convincing win over Cleveland Cavaliers.

Montrezl Harell led the scoring for the hosts by scoring 24 points. Lakers, who headed into the second half with a seven-point deficit, turned the contest around by outscoring the Cavaliers 28-10 in the third quarter.
