Max Verstappen commended Norris for maintaining a strong pace on medium tires, expressing admiration for Norris’s skill and strategy. Verstappen went on to acknowledge that he himself would have struggled to achieve the same feat. Furthermore, Verstappen emphasized that even if the safety car had not been deployed, he would not have been able to overtake Norris, highlighting the extent of Norris’s impressive performance throughout the race.
