Jon Moxley(previously known as Dean Ambrose in WWE) had made his debut in AEW at Double or Nothing 2019 and was a major addition to the company. He also won the AEW World Championship and helped the title gain a lot of popularity.
Moxley was scheduled to square off against Orange Cassidy on the upcoming AEW Dynamite episode, in a match for the AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament. The winner, previously expected to be Moxley, would then advance to the AEW Full Gear pay-per-view on November 13 to face Bryan Danielson in the finals. There is no word on how AEW will handle Moxley’s spot in the tournament, but we will have to see how it goes after the edition of Dynamite.
We are hopeful that Moxley will come out of the rehab as a better person!
