Edge, the veteran WWE star hurled back at a fan who insulted Beth Phoenix, the former WWE star and wife of the Rated R Superstar.
Edge fires back at a fan who called the couple ‘odd’
WWE fans have the opportunity to interact with the WWE stars through social media but sometimes fans end up making personal remarks which are not lightly taken by the stars.
Similar incident happened when Beth Phoenix posted a picture on Twitter. It featured herself and her husband, Edge.
But a fan was very disrespectful as he responded with a Tweet insulting Phoenix and calling the star couple to be ‘odd’.
The fan wrote: “Looks like edge is taking a picture with some random soccer mom, head of the Pa, or Karen. Odd couple”

Edge was apparently furious with the harsh comments and did not remain silent. He stood up for his wife and fired back at the fan.

The former WWE Champion said, “What you see is Adam standing with his wife & mother of their children whom he loves unconditionally. Assuming from your page that you won’t find out what that’s like & your biggest concern is making sure you have enough lubricant to get by until you next crawl out of your hole”

Beth Phoenix and Edge’s current status with WWE
Beth Phoenix is currently signed with WWE working on the NXT brand as a commentator. She retired back in 2012 and has been associated with the company for a long time now.
She is also a WWE Hall of Famer, inducted in the Class of 2017. She recently made a comeback to the squared circle for Women’s Royal Rumble match this year.
While, Edge made his long awaited return to WWE ring during this year’s Men’s Royal Rumble match.
His in-ring career was cut short due to a life threatening neck injury that forced him to hang up the boots in 2012. But he continued his battle and was finally cleared to compete in the ring.
He also re-ignited a feud with Randy Orton, having a bout at WrestleMania 36 and then at Backlash pay-per-view.
He suffered a torn tricep injury and was sidelined for several months for rehab. He is yet to make a return from the injury.
