Cristiano Ronaldo, the Juventus ace has once again tested positive for COVID-19 as reported by Spanish outlet, Marca.

Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portuguese striker was tested COVID-19 last week and was confirmed on Tuesday by Portuguese Football Federation (FPF). This ruled him out of action for Portugal in the Nations League as well and also missed out on the Serie A league games.

The Portuguese International was once again set to face off against his old El Classico rival, Lionel Messi as Juventus will take on Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League group stage match on October 28.

But now as per reports, it has caused worries and doubt remains if the former Real Madrid star would be fit to play the group stage match against Barcelona as he has tested coronavirus positive again.

It is being said that the Serie A giants would be pleaing UEFA for granting permission to test the Juventus ace 48 hours before the game on October 28.

Cristiano Ronaldo had last played the match against France which ended in the goalless draw. He was also witnessed hugging French striker, Kylian Mbappe. He had also exhanged shirts with Eduardo Camavinga.

After contacting the virus, the former Manchester United star has missed out on the Serie A games. He was forced to be ruled out against Crotone on Sunday, followed by the UEFA Champions League clash against Dynamo Kyiv on 20th October.

Cristiano Ronaldo had been flaunting his pictures of social media. He also addressed the fans and gave update on his health. He was asymptomatic and was dealing well with the virus. The Juventus star also recently got a hairdo as he sported the buzz cut look.

Fans had been eagerly waiting for the most awaited reunion this year in the world of football. But as the situation stands it is highly doubtful if Cristiano Ronaldo would be able to play the game in the next week.
