Bubba Wallace has started the season fantastically after getting back-to-back top-five finishes, but it seems like things are not at all healthy between Bubba Wallace and his spotter Freddie Kraft.
Wallace seemed agitated on his spotter after the Ambetter Health 400, but things actually are quite the opposite. The race was a mentally grueling affair for the driver of number #23 who had to navigate his way through several wrecks to finish high up the pack and to do that he was helped by his spotter Freddie Kraft.
After continuously listening to Kraft’s voice on the microphone, it seems like Bubba Wallace needs a break from his spotter talking into his ear all the time. Kraft wrote on social media after the conclusion of proceedings at the Atlanta Motor Speedway.
“HOLY F$&K that was FUN to spot. Beer Me” Kraft wrote. To which Bubba Wallace replied, “I’m even tired of seeing you type let alone talk.”
These two share a wonderful relationship between them despite their social media antics, they truly set friendship goals.

Bubba Wallace went on to speak about the problems and challenges he faced during plate racing and how it is different than other types of races.
“May sound like a joke but my brain is mush. The psychological piece to plate racing is massive. Yes it’s big any other race but receiving and digesting the info from @FreddieKraftlap by lap, corner by corner to make sure you’re in the right spot is intense…” He wrote.
No matter how hard the race is if you have such chemistry with your spotter, you will be a tough one to beat.
