More than two decades have passed, David retired from the beautiful game, and the young Brooklyn, who was once a regular kid at Old Trafford on match days, is now a grown man engaged to his fiancé, actress Nicola Peltz, as social media explodes with blessings to the couple!
Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz: A match made in heaven
Brooklyn, the eldest of the four Beckham siblings, took to his official Instagram on 11th July to unfold the news of his engagement with American actress Nicola Peltz.
“Two weeks ago I asked my soulmate to marry me and she said yes xx I am the luckiest man in the world. I promise to be the best husband and the best daddy one day ❤️ I love you baby xx” the 21 year old wrote, along with a photo together.
Same photo was seen on Peltz’s Instagram, as the 25 year old wrote on her profile: “you’ve made me the luckiest girl in the world. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life by your side. your love is the most precious gift.”
“I love you so so much baby and thank you Harper for this pic 🥰” she credited Brooklyn’s sister Harper Seven Beckham for the photo.
Peltz hails from Westchester County, New York. She made her breakthrough to the big screen with the role of Katara in The Last Airbender, followed by another big role in Transformers: Age of Extinction, where she was cast as Tessa Yeager.
Daughter of billionaire businessman Nelson Peltz and model Claudia Heffner, Nicola has also starred in A&E drama series Bates Motel. Her brother Brad Peltz is an ice hockey player who plays for Ottawa Senators in the National Hockey League (NHL).
Following his father’s footsteps, Brooklyn started his youth career at the Arsenal Football Club Academy, but failed to receive a scholarship. In 2014, he started modelling, and has made appearances for The New York Times, Vogue and more.
He has also studied photography at the Parsons School of Design in New York, and has worked with Burberry BRIT for a photography campaign.
