Tyson Fury vs Dillian Whyte: Undercard of WBC heavyweight title fight on Apr 23 announced

We’re less than a month away from one of the biggest boxing events of the year- Tyson Fury vs Dillian Whyte, the much anticipated heavyweight title unification clash between Fury, the WBC world champion and Whyte, the sanction body’s interim champion, which will head to the Wembley Stadium on 23rd April, and the undercard of the fight has been officially announced.

Fury’s younger brother Tommy, who was supposed to face Jake Paul back in December but pulled out citing a rib fracture, will be returning to the ring to take on veteran Polish boxer Polish veteran Daniel Bocianski, seen as the toughest challenge for “TNT” in his professional career so far.

Fury’s cousin Isaac Lowe, the mandatory for newly crowned IBF featherweight champion Josh Warrington, will also be making an appearance on the undercard, taking on undefeated Liverpudlian pugilist Nick Ball

British heavyweight boxer David Adeleye, who turned pro in July 2019 and joined Frank Warren’s Queensberry Promotions, will square off against 33-year-old southpaw Chris Healey.

“I am delighted to finally be able to reveal what will be a competitive undercard in support of the big one that we have all been waiting for,” said Warren following the announcement. “I am also delighted that Tommy Fury will get to share some of the spotlight with his big brother after missing out on his big fight last year through illness. If Tommy keeps on winning and continues to shine, his big opportunities will soon follow.”

Tommy Fury himself stated that he doesn’t want to put his career on hold and wait for the Jake Paul fight, as there has been no concrete progress in making the fight happen so far.

Tyson Fury vs Dillian Whyte undercard:

  • Anthony Cacace vs. Jonathan Romero
  • Isaac Lowe vs Nick Ball
  • David Adeleye vs Chris Healey
  • Tommy Fury vs Daniel Bocianski
