Curry was once again in the spotlight for Warriors after dishing out a 41-point display to give the team a crucial win over New Orleans Pelicans. The form keeps on as this marked Curry’s 6th time registering over 40 points in the last 15 games.

The prospect of Warriors making it into the play-in tournament gets more likely as thy head into the final two weeks of the regular season.

Draymond Green, who scored a triple double in the win against New Orleans Pelicans claimed that having Stephen Curry in the side is a huge advantage and leads to opponents getting afraid on the court.

“Anytime you step on the floor with Steph Curry, there’s an advantage there,”So, teams are terrified of him — and everywhere he runs on the floor — with or without the ball — teams are terrified,”

“That type of gravity, he pulls a lot of weight … I wouldn’t want to see a team with Steph Curry on it. We all know what he’s capable of. The guy can take over a game and make it hard for any team in the NBA on any given night.” he said

Curry feels this run of form is different

The two-time winner, despite having registered mind-boggling numbers before on a regular basis, claimed that there is something different to this current run.

Curry, who is now averaging 37.3 points per game since April, is surprised at the fact that he has been able to maintain the form.

“I haven’t done anything like this stretch in my career, but the work that goes into it — there’s no surprise there, so it’s just a matter of staying in the moment, enjoying what I get to do. Having the utmost confidence in what I can do out on the floor,”

The Warriors face Pelicans once again before hosting Oklahoma City Thunder for two successive games at the Oracle Arena.
