Samoa Joe says it is tough to predict John Cena

During a recent interview with Helen Yee, Samoa Joe reflected on John Cena’s return to WWE. He believes it will depend on how busy his schedule is. The former 16-time World Champion has not confirmed yet when he would return but speculations have been around that he could make his much-awaited comeback at SummerSlam pay-per-view.

The former WWE Champion was last seen in WWE ring when he lost to Bray Wyatt in a cinematic Firefly Funhouse Match at WrestleMania 36. He has been away since then and busy with his acting career. In the recent years he has transitioned into an actor and makes sporadic WWE appearances.

The former NXT star Samoa Joe said that Cena has the ability to shuffle everything up in WWE by returning to the scene. Joe also believes that it is a tough call to predict the mind of John Cena. Samoa Joe said:

“I know John has expressed publicly that he is ready to step back into the ring and apply his trade but you know, John’s always a threat out there. You know what I mean?

He added: “Depends on how busy he is, sometimes he’ll come back in and want to shake everything up. It’s a tough call man, if you were to ask me to predict the mind of John Cena, I couldn’t do it.”

Recently John Cena starred F9 released last week. While he has several projects lined up, the fans are not ruling out a return of the Leader of Cenation.

Should the match between Cena and Reigns take place, it would be an epic showdown to witness. With fans back in the attendance for the show, it would add much more feel to it.

The Tribal Chief is set to defend his WWE Universal Championship against Edge at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view.

The Rated-R Superstar recently returned on Friday Night SmackDown and attacked Reigns. This year’s WrestleMania also saw Edge challeng Reigns in a Triple Threat Match which involved Daniel Bryan, but Champion had retained the gold.

We will have to see when John Cena makes his return to the company and how WWE plans their storyline.
