WBC interim lightweight champion Ryan Garcia (21-0, 18KOs) is ready to step inside a new ring this time, the Hollywood ring.

The unbeaten 22-year-old American pugilist, who’s fan base applauds Garcia for his film star looks, is ready to make his debut in the silver screen in a boxing feature film that is reportedly inspired from his own life.

Recently, the boxer spoke up on dealing with anxiety and depression, which was also the reason why his fight against Javier Fortuna was called off on 24th April, and the energetic youngster took some time off from the limelight.

However, Garcia is hopeful to make a stout return to the sport and while he is ready to make his debut in Hollywood, he assures that boxing will always remain as his priority.

“Boxing will always be at the forefront of my career and I cannot wait to return to the ring very soon as a stronger and healthier KingRy,” he added. (H/T BoxingScene)

Although his Fortuna fight was called off, Ryan Garcia can still get his promotional company to recall the fight. On the other hand, the WBC interim champion can easily look forward to bigger opportunities, for example, a direct title fight against WBC lightweight titleholder Devin Haney is also a likely option.
