Miro (better known as Rusev in WWE) on his Sunday’s Twitch stream explained his tweet to WWE and is certainly unhappy with WWE’s social media policies.
Relationship between Rusev and WWE turns bitter
WWE had tweeted the video link of the match between Rusev and Roman Reigns at Clash of Champions 2016. But WWE did not tag the former WWE wrestler in the tweet.
This incident made Rusev angry as he was featured in the match and not tagged in the tweet. Rusev then tweeted WWE’s tweet himself quoting, “Tag me @ToBeMiro”.

During the Twitch livstream Rusev spoke about the bizarre WWE social media policies that does not let them tag and give recognition to any former wrestler. He expressed his displeasure as well and said,
“Not tagging me is really low class and an unprofessional thing to do. It [WWE’s social media policy] is so stupid because I don’t work for them anymore, but I still get checks every quarter for the Rusev merch they continue to sell. You know, I ain’t freaking dead either, so why wouldn’t you just tag me?”
He continued, “It is not so hard to just use the tag, so why wouldn’t you do that? Honestly, I am just trying to understand this [policy]. I can understand if I worked for somebody else like TNA [Impact Wrestling] but I don’t. In that case, I can understand if they [WWE] don’t want to promote me. But, I am here, jobless!”
One of the fans tweeted speaking about similar incident was experienced by Matt Hardy, who is currently signed with AEW. The tweet read, “Seems to be a pattern. They did the same thing to @MATTHARDYBRAND recently.”
Matt Hardy, the AEW star did not hold back and explained the policies that WWE follows and praised WWE in that regard. He said,
“WWE social media folks aren’t allowed to mention talent like @ToBeMiro, because they now only exist in the entire professional wrestling universe, as opposed to solely @WWE. It’s just their policy. I love how @AEWrestling acknowledges all of pro wrestling, competition or not.”
