WWE star Roman Reigns has threatened fellow WWE star Kevin Owens on social media that he would ban his merchandise.
Roman Reigns threatens to ban Kevin Owens’ new t-shirt
WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens are entailed in a heated feud for quite some now. On this week’s WWE Friday Night SmackDown, Reigns and Owens had joined Michael Cole via split-screen for an interview.
They went on to have a heated exchange words ahead of their Last Man Standing Match which is set to take place this Sunday at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view.
During the interview, Kevin Owens was spotted sporting a ‘EverRise Rules!’ t-shirt and Matt Martel, who is the member Ever-Rise, was impressed with Owens stating that he would be the next WWE Universal Champion.
He even took to Twitter and responded to Owens’ gesture. He tweeted, the following: “Your next Universal Champion with a sick new shirt. EverRise Rules!”
However, when Roman Reigns noticed the tweet, it took a turn. He urged the WWE fans to purchase the shirt quickly. But, he gave the reason that he will have them taken off WWE Shop after retaining his WWE Universal title on Sunday at Royal Rumble pay-per-view.
The Tribal Chief said: “Better buy these shirts now. Once I retain on Sunday, I’m going to have them banned from @WWEShop.”
Roman Reigns-Kevin Owens rivalry
Roman Reigns having a great run on the blue brand with Paul Heyman and Reigns’ cousin Jey Uso in his corner. He has been a dominant force after the heel turn and captured the Universal title.
The challenger Kevin Owens is a well matched opponent having no fear facing The Tribal Chief and eyeing to capture the WWE Universal Championship. At WWE TLC, Jey Uso’s interference helped Reigns to defeat Owens to retain the belt.
The same outcome was witnesed on SmackDown as Owens lost a Steel Cage match to Reigns. At the Royal Rumble pay-per-view, Roman Reigns was set to battle Adam Pearce, but instead will now face Owens as his replacement.
It is to be seen if a there is a difference in the outcome at Royal Rumble on Sunday, January 31 when the two collides.
