Wrestling icon Ric Flair is known for his charisma and in-ring prowess. He was popular in his time and he’s undoubtedly one of the greatest stars in the pro-wrestling industry. ‘The Nature Boy’ seems to be teasing the wrestling community for a comeback to the in-ring competition.

The 16-time World Champion looks in great shape as he posted a photo of himself on his social media account. He was spotted in the gym while flexing.

Flair had called it a day in WWE back in 2008 at WrestleMania 24. At the event, he squared off against Shawn Michaels in a losing effort in a retirement match but the retirement was not something he wanted. WWE Chairman Vince McMahon had deemed him too old to wrestle and decided to keep Flair on the shelf.

Flair jumped ship to TNA(now Impact Wrestling) in 2010 and wrestled his last match in 2011. He later returned to WWE for occasional appearances and storylines and the company was careful, especially after his major health scare in 2016, not to have him take bumps.

Speaking on his The Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T said that the two-time WWE Hall of Famer wants to have one more run in pro- wrestling.

Here is what he said: “I talk to Ric Flair on a regular — usually on a regular occasion, I don’t know how often I’m going to see him now, but Ric Flair told me, he said, ‘Book, I’m never going to retire.’ He said, ‘If I could be in that ring right now, that’s where I’d be.’ So I think Ric Flair may be looking at one last run.”

There is also a possibility that ‘Naitch’ could join AEW, where veteran Sting has also competed inside the ring. We could similarly witness Flair in a match as the saying goes, ‘Never say never’.
