NBA Week 14 Mar 28 Results: Scores, standings, match summary and highlights

The seventh matchday of Week 14 of the 2020-21 NBA season has concluded and it’s time to take a look back at the scores and highlights of the matches and standings of the teams.

Hornets 97 – 101 Suns

Charlotte Hornets pressed the match into overtime with a stunning fourth quarter rally, but Phoenix Suns were comfortably ahead of the hosts with a 4-point advantage in the OT to seal a win at the Spectrum Center.

Devin Booker finished on the top of the scoreboard with a staggering 35 points, while Deandre Ayton landed 14 points and 14 rebounds. Devonte’ Graham led the hosts with 30 points.

Raptors 117 – 122 Trail Blazers

Although Toronto Raptors took the lead with a 41-point first quarter, Portland Trail Blazers were on a slow but steady approach in their catch up game, and took advantage of the second half to walk out as winners at the Amalie Arena.

CJ McCollum scored 23 points for the visitors, one more than Damian Lillard who also landed 11 assists, while Derrick Jones Jr posted 16 points from the bench. Pascal Siakam scored 26 for the Raptors.

Nuggets 126 – 102 Hawks

After falling behind in the first quarter, Denver Nuggets broke away from Q2 as Atlanta Hawks failed to catch up to the hosts who picked up their 28th win of this NBA season at the Ball Arena.

Both Nikola Jokić and Michael Porter Jr. landed double-doubles, posting 16 points and 15 points respectively while landing 10 rebounds each, and the former added 8 assists as well. JaMychal Green scored 20 points off the bench while debutant Aaron Gordon landed 13 points.

Lakers 96 – 93 Magic

Despite LeBron James still away from the court, Los Angeles Lakers were powered by three double-doubles as they edged out Orlando Magic at the Staples Center.

Dennis Schröder led the hosts with a score of 24, while Kyle Kuzma posted 21 points and 11 rebounds. Markieff Morris posted 12 points and 11 rebounds, added with 18 points and 11 rebounds contributed by Montrezl Harrell.
