NBA Week 14 Mar 22 Results: Scores, standings, match summary and highlights

The first matchday of Week 14 of the 2020-21 NBA season has concluded and it’s time to take a look back at the scores and highlights of the matches and standings of the teams.

Cavaliers 105 – 119 Kings

A third quarter advantage made the difference for Sacramento Kings as they thrashed Cleveland Cavaliers at the Quicken Loans Arena.

De’Aaron Fox led the visitors with 30 points, followed by 28 from Tyrese Haliburton. Richaun Holmes posted a double double of 17 points and 16 rebounds.

Timberwolves 103 – 112 Thunder

A 3-point scoring spree powered Oklahoma City Thunder to trounce Minnesota Timberwolves at the Target Center.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander landed 31 points, while Moses Brown clocked 17 rebounds and Aleksej Pokuševski landed a double-double.

Spurs 97 – 100 Hornets

Coming from a three game losing streak, Charlotte Hornets bounced back as they edged out San Antonio Spurs at the AT&T Center.

Gordon Hayward and Terry Rozier clocked 27 and 24 points respectively, while PJ Washington posted 13 rebounds for 10 points.

Rockets 117 – 99 Raptors

Houston Rockets finally broke their curse as after 20 straight defeats this NBA season, they saw the face of victory over Toronto Raptors at the Toyota Center.

John Wall landed a triple-double after five NBA seasons, with 19 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. Jae’Sean Tate posted 22 points, while Sterling Brown delivered 20 points and 10 rebounds.

Bucks 140 – 113 Pacers

Despite Giannis’ injury, Milwaukee Bucks still had enough juice to overpower Indiana Pacers at the Fiserv Forum.

Jrue Holiday led the hosts with 28 points and 14 assists, along with Khris Middleton scoring 25. Bobby Portis landed a double-double off the bench.

Grizzlies 132 – 126 Celtics

Although Boston Celtics rallied in Q4 to push the game into OT, Memphis Grizzlies mauled the visitors with an six-point advantage at the FedExForum.

Ja Morant finished with 29 points, followed by Dillon Brooks at 24. Jonas Valančiūnas landed a double-double of 16 points and 19 rebounds.

Bulls 95 – 120 Jazz

Utah Jazz cruised to their 31st win of this NBA season, thrashing Chicago Bulls comfortably at the United Center.

Donovan Mitchell landed another stupendous 30-point performance, added with Rudy Gobert’s score of 21 and 10 rebounds plus a career-high 9 blocks. Zach LaVine topped the hosts with 27 points.

Clippers 119 – 110 Hawks

Despite being behind at the break, Los Angeles Clippers boosted ahead in the second half to defeat Atlanta Hawks at the Staples Center.

Kawhi Leonard scored 25, along with Terance Mann landing 21 points and 10 rebounds. Luke Kennard contributed 20 points off the bench.
