AEW analyst and former pro-wrestler Mark Henry has been a part of the promotion for quite some time now. Tony Khan’s company has been doing an amazing job and fans have loved every bit of quality product that has been served.

However, The World’s Strongest Man pointed out how can AEW serve better to the community rather than only the fans. He also talked about the areas that should be worked on to improve the future product.

Mark Henry opens up on media outreach

Mark Henry recently joined the Battleground Podcast and talked about the areas where AEW can look for improvement. He stated that AEW really needs to improve their media outreach and also give back to the community. He named with whom creating relationships will help them.

He said:

“We have to do more of this. Marketing and creating relationships with the media. Not just the big media but the grassroots media, podcasts, companies that are interesting in pro wrestling, not only to market, but just fans.

He added: “And community involvement. We will be reaching out to people who are terminally ill, as I will today on Twitter after I get through talking to you guys.”

Mark Henry wants to serve the community

He that that they will be going to the Boys and Girls clubs in the communities. Henry also noted to serve The Special Olympics, Wounded Warriors and ‘different things that deal with our military’.

He dropped hints about ‘something coming up’ in Jacksonville for the police officers that train the K9’s. Mark Henry said: ‘We’re going to touch everything we can in the communities we go to, to let people know we’re not just trying to take. We’re trying to give as well.”

Mark Henry was recently revealed as a commentator for AEW Rampage at Double Or Nothing 2021 by Tony Schiavone. Rampage is set to premiere on August 13, 2021, and will be AEW’s second weekly television show airing on Fridays.

Addition of Henry to AEW is huge success as he immensely contributes to the promotion in shaping up the younger talents and having an experienced star like him always uplifts the spirit of the young blood.
