As per media reports, Louis Rees-Zammit is set to join the KC Chiefs this summer. Zammit left the British Rugby circuit in late 2023 to focus on a NFL career. He joined the NFL International Player Pathway in Jan 2024 to prepare for an entry into the NFL.
Recently, he put up a strong display at the Pro Day and as per reports multiple teams including New York Jets, Cleveland Browns and Denver Broncos were interested in him.
KC Chiefs Seal the Deal
Now, it is being said that KC Chiefs and Zammit have reached an agreement.
The #Chiefs are expected to sign Rugby star Louis Rees-Zammit, per @Schultz_Report. The plan is for him to be an offensive weapon, used in various rules.

After he revealed his intentions to leave Rugby, he said : I have had the incredible honor of playing rugby for my country which, as a proud Welshman, I’ve never taken for granted,”
He added, “However, I believe that this is the right time for me to realize another professional goal of playing American football in the US. Those opportunities don’t come around very often.”
