Larsa Pippen clarifies her relationship with Timberwolves’ Malik Beasley

Larsa Pippen, the ex-wife of Chicago Bulls legend Scottie Pippen has defended herself amid the rumours that suggest she is in a relationship with Minnesota Timberwolves’ Malik Beasley.

Beasley recently landed in trouble after he was accused of threatening a family in his neighbourhood with a rifle.

The guard’s wife filed for divorce after images surfaced which showed Beasley holding hands with Pippen’s ex-wife, who is 22-years older than him.

While initially, she tried to downplay the photos, she has now come out to defend herself.

“Don’t always trust what you see on social media, Even salt looks like sugar.” she had written earlier when the images came out.

She clarified that Beasley was separated from his partner Montana Yao, before the two met. Moreover, she stated that she is not much into dating now as she is going through a divorce.

I’ve been separated going thru a divorce for over 2 years and I’ve been linked to a few guys my entire life so don’t sit here and paint a picture of me that isn’t true,”

Beasley’s partner filed for divorce following involvement with Larsa

Montana Yao filed for divorce after the image of Beasley holding hands with Larsa came out

Beasley was supposed to be home on the 26th of November for his birthday, but did not show up and was with Larsa instead which prompted his partner to file for the divorce.

Montana Yao, who was also involved in legal trouble after the police acquired drugs in their home. While she claimed the substance to be for medicinal purposes, there was no proper documentation presented.

While the drug charges have been dropped, Beasley ultimately pleaded guilty to the violence charges and will face the punishment after the end of the ongoing NBA season.

“We were told to leave our family home 10 days ago and just like you all I’m pretty confused.”

She continued, “There have been no public or private addressing of the situation nor any type of apology.”
