Karrion Kross, the NXT star clashed with ‘The Limitless’ Keith Lee at NXT Takeover: XXX in a bout for the NXT Championship and won the match. However, he made an announcement on the following episode of NXT.
Karrion Kross with Scarlett appeared on August 26 edition of NXT. He was seen wearing a suit with a sling on his shoulder. Karrion Kross suffered a separated shoulder in the hard-hitting battle that he fought with Keith Lee.
“The Herald of Doomsday” warned everybody. He believes the injury is an obstacle and that, “Doomsday is still coming to NXT because no matter when the time is told, everybody pays the toll, and God help the obstacles that will be in his path. Tick tock.”
He said, “There’s no way they’re going to let me defend the NXT Championship in this condition,” and relinquished the title. Scarlett then placed an hourglass next to the NXT Title on the mat and turned it upside down.

Karrion Kross was supposed to undergo an MRI on the past Monday but no news has been disclosed regarding this matter.
Hard Luck for Karrion Kross as he suffers shoulder injury
This was Karrion Kross’ first NXT title reign. However, it is unfortunate that the injury has caused him to relinquish the title. This incident is quite similar to another NXT star, Finn Balor, who had just won the WWE Universal Championship at Summerslam but had to surrender the title the following night on Raw due to the same injury.
Previously before signing for WWE, Kross appeared Raw. He teamed up with Darren Young and faced The Ascension(Viktor & Connor). But the match resulted in no contest.
In February 2020, WWE Backstage confirmed the news of the signing of Karrion Kross. He debuted on NXT with an assault on Tommaso Ciampa. In his in-ring debut, he squashed Leon Ruff. At NXT TakeOver: In Your House event, Karrion Kross defeated Tommaso Ciampa.
No specific time of return of the wrestler has been revealed. Fans were totally disappointed with what happened with the fate of the wrestler. They hope speedy recovery. Next week Tuesday, Finn Balor, Johnny Gargano, Adam Cole and the returning Tommaso Ciampa are set to collide in a fatal four-way 60 minutes Iron Man match, as announced by NXT General Manager, William Regal.
