WWE star John Cena has taken the company by storm following his shocking return in the final moments of last month’s Money In The Bank pay-per-view. He had interrupted WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns following his successful title defense.

It is always great to have John Cena on the card, be it the pay-per-view events, main roster shows, or even the live events. The 16-time World Champion has the ability to elevate the sale of tickets.

It has been noted that after the advertisement that John Cena would be included for the WWE Supershow live event in Fort Myers, Florida, the ticket sales went up massively. As per the reports of F4Wonline, 63 percent of the tickets for the event were sold post-Cena’s advertisement for an appearance.

John Cena was featured in the main event of the show. He had joined forces with Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio as they went on to defeat The Bloodline(WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and The Usos).

Cena has been regularly featured on both Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown. WWE had announced ‘Summer of Cena’ which listed the schedule of appearances that Cena would make.

For the upcoming WWE Supershow events, Cena will be competing on Saturday, August 14 at Spectrum Center in Charlotte, N.C., and on Sunday, August 15  Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, S.C.

Previously, John Cena had challenged Roman Reigns for the Universal title at the SummerSlam event but ‘The Tribal Chief’ had turned down his challenge and accepted Finn Balor’s challenge instead.

But, in turn of events, during contract signing after Reigns signed on the dotted line, it was Cena, who inked the contract making it an official match between the two at ‘The Biggest Party of The Summer’ on Saturday, August 21.
