Michael Thomas has not been sharing a smooth bonding with the New Orleans Saints in recent times, and the latest tweet from the wide receiver has spiced things up even to a greater extent.
Thomas has been at the receiving end of multiple speculations of the Saints reportedly being unhappy in the player, as he decided to hold off his ankle surgery until June while the franchise had recommended to undergo it in January.
In the early hours of Monday, Thomas sent out a tweet that looks something like this:

The 28-year-old suggests that the team is apparently attempting to harm his reputation, while on the other hand he himself has been saving the team’s reputation by not revealing his side.
However, the crack between the player and the team had taken place from last year. After making only five appearances in the Saints shirt last season due to the recurring ankle issue, Thomas finally decided to undergo the surgery in June.
This decision not only means Thomas will sit out for a significant amount of time in the upcoming NFL season, it has also been one of the primary reason why the club has put the player in their bad books.
The other reason? Thomas has been avoiding making any contact from the franchise, which includes ignoring calls from his trainer, wide receivers coach as well as head coach Sean Payton.
“It appears we’re going to have to spend some time without him,” said Payton, according to Jeff Duncan of NOLA.com, “it’s disappointing. We would have liked that to have happened earlier. And quite honestly, it should have.”
