The Philadelphia 76ers have dented the clean 10-0 away record for the Los Angeles Lakers, edging out the defending NBA Champions with a 107-106 win at home. However, Joel Embiid has a complaint, claiming that LeBron James had received special treatment after a foul.
During their Week 6 clash on Wednesday night at the Wells Fargo Center, LeBron James had pushed Joel Embiid when he made a dunk attempt in the third quarter of the match.
The 76ers center fell down hard on his back and was in noticeable pain and was on the court floor for quite some time. James, however, was not fouled and was instead called for a flagrant 1.

That’s a very dangerous play: Joel Embiid comments on Lebron’s flagrant 1
In spite of the fall, Embiid continued his play and finished with 28 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists as the sixers clinched their 13th win this season.
Meanwhile, The Athletic’s Derek Bodner reported that Embiid was unhappy with how LeBron’s push was treated, stating that he himself would probably have to exit from the game if he had committed something similar.
“That’s a very dangerous play. I guarantee if that was me I would have probably been ejected from the game,” the 26-year-old stated.
Joel Embiid, however, was himself handed a flagrant 1 foul as well after he elbowed Anthony Davis during an offensive play.
Bouncing back from their Pistons rematch defeat, 76ers have soared to the top of the Eastern Conference and will take on Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday at the Target Center.
Lakers, having suffered their 5th overall loss this season, are now in 2nd in the Western Conference behind Utah Jazz and will travel to Detroit to face the Pistons at the Little Caesars Arena on Thursday.
