After a month, Dynamite is set to return to their normal timeslot as it was changed after the timing clashed with 2021 NBA Playoffs. Dynamite is returning to Wednesdays starting this week on TNT with the last appearance from Daily’s Place in Jacksonville before returning to the road next week.

AEW has now decided to make the edition of the show special as Chris Jericho is set to join the likes of Jim Ross, Excalibur and Tony Schiavone on the commentary desk for the entire duration of the broadcast.

Chris Jericho took to his Instagram account to make the announcement and also expressed his thoughts about the main event that will see The Inner Circle’s Sammy Guevara locking horns with The Pinnacle’s MJF. They have built up quite a rivalry in recent times and fans are looking forward to the match as both men are expected to put on a great headlining bout.

Here is what Chris Jericho wrote on his Instagram post:

“I’m returning to the commentary desk this Wednesday for the entire duration of #AEWDynamite!! And I’m very Excited to have a front row seat for @sammyguevara vs @the_mjf!! Im expecting this to be one of the most heated…and best…matches in @allelitewrestling history!!”

Andrade El Idolo with Vickie Guerrero wanted to make an announcement on last Saturday’s edition of AEW Dynamite but they could not as Matt Sydal ended up interrupting them. We will also have to see if they could make the special announcement on this week’s episode.

Below is the line-up for the show:

  • Chris Jericho returns to commentary
  • AEW World Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks vs. Eddie Kingston and Penta El Zero Miedo. Kingston and Penta will earn a future title shot if they win
  • Rebel and AEW Women’s World Champion Britt Baker vs. Nyla Rose and Vickie Guerrero
  • TNT Champion Miro defends against Brian Pillman Jr.
  • MJF vs. Sammy Guevara in the main event
