In the past few weeks, 18-year-old Dagestani social media and TikTok star Hasbulla Magomedov has taken over the combat sports community as the most viral topic of discussion. The teenager, who hails from Makhachkala in Dagestan, Russia is widely known as “Mini Khabib”.

The reason why Hasbulla has become famous as a miniature version of the legendary Khabib Nurmagomedov, is due to the number of impersonations he has done of the former UFC Lightweight champion.

Who is Hasbulla Magomedov, how old is he, and why is he called 'Mini Khabib '?

Recently, Hasbulla recreated Khabib’s weigh-in from UFC 229. The resemblance was astoundingly similar, as he perfectly imitated Khabib’s entrance walk, as well as flexing and even pointing towards the sky, which won the hearts of Khabib’s fans.

What’s more interesting is, both Hasbulla and Khabib have interacted a number of times and from Khabib supporting his little version to Hasbulla in turn wanting to settle the scores with ‘The Eagle’s former rival Conor McGregor, it all proves that the two share a great bonding.

Khabib defended Hasbulla Magomedov against Henry Cejudo

In the past, Khabib Nurmagomedov and Hasbulla Magomedov have been seen together in restaurants clicking pictures as well as playing chess, and Khabib even shared a short clip of Hasbulla on his official Instagram back in April.

However, its not just limited to an Instagram video or photos. Recently, Khabib showed his support towards Hasbulla after the latter was threatened by Henry Cejudo for saying that he wants to fight the former UFC Flyweight and Bantamweight Champion.

Cejudo recently shared a clip on Instagram, where he was seen speaking Russian and in Hasbulla’s mother tongue, told the Dagestani, that he was “I’m gonna rip you apart.”

Seeing his friend under threat, Khabib came forward and on the Instagram post, sent a warning to Cejudo.

“Be careful Champ, all Dagestan with Hasbulla 😡👊” the undefeated Dagestani defended his compatriot.

Hasbulla wants to humble Khabib’s ex-rival Conor McGregor

While Khabib is showing his support towards him, Hasbulla Magomedov is not sitting idle either and has decided something incredible- to do the honour of humbling former UFC double champion and Khabib’s nemesis, Conor McGregor.

In a recent skit where Hasbulla was presented with the options of picking Logan Paul, Henry Cejudo and Conor McGregor as his next fighter, Hasbulla did not hesitate to pick the Irishman and insisted that he was going to “punish” Conor, despite the size difference.

“I want to punish this one (Conor McGregor). He talks too much,” said Hasbulla, “Yes. I want to punish him.”

As Hasbulla Magomedov has become a prominent name in the MMA community, his friendship and bonding with his fellow Dagestani Khabib, who is one of the greatest ever in the sport, get stronger day by day.

Beyond his friendship with Khabib, his influence within the MMA circles is far-reaching, as he has a strong relationship with many MMA figures.

And considering his humble beginnings in the Dagestan region of Russia, he has indeed come a long way. What started as a fun activity of making funny videos for the internet has seen him build a thriving career in influencing. His growing popularity has led to various endorsement deals.

Earlier in 2023, he signed a multi-shoe contract with the Jordan brand which was an unprecedented move for him because he turned down most endorsement deals because of his religious inclinations.

However, many betting enthusiasts view him as an authority on MMA bouts and tend to fashion their wagers along the lines of his pre-match submissions. Although he is averse to sports betting himself, bettors trust his insight on MMA fixtures and probable outcomes of top MMA bouts and back his favorites.

Customers also have extra motivation to claim sports betting bonuses on a sportsbook of their choice after signing up. Sportsbooks in the United States are replete with tons of new customer sign up offers.
