Former five-division world champion Floyd Mayweather is reportedly set to fight Youtuber Logan Paul in an exhibition match-up.
Several YouTubers reported the news and it was confirmed by Pat McAfee on his Youtube channel.
The news was originally reported by Mike Feinberg of The Fighting News.
“I don’t understand the fight. Logan Paul has tried his hand at professional boxing — couldn’t the other nobody [that] nobody’s ever heard of before. [Paul’s] now zero and one.
“He’s going to be fighting one of the best in Floyd Mayweather. It’s going to be a joke of a fight, but it’s signed. It’s official.
“I heard it from a reputable source today and even saw the signed picture of the signed contract where Floyd signed on the dotted line for this exhibition match.”
Logan Paul is 0-1 in Boxing
Logan Paul made his professional boxing debut last year in November when he took on British Youtuber KSI. KSI was also making his pro debut and in that fight, Paul lost to the Briton via split decision.

The fight took place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles and it was streamed on DAZN in the US and sold on Sky Sports PPV in the UK.

The fight had a lot of interest and it generated 1.2 Million PPV buys.
“The first fight did 1.2million pay-per-view buys globally,” British boxing promoter Hearn told Sirius XM’s Fight Nation last year. “This was much, much bigger this time around.
“It’s the biggest pay-per-view in the UK of the year so far. That includes the first Joshua-Ruiz Jr fight from America. This fight was cheaper, was half the price of that.
“I believe DAZN will announce some numbers this week but I understand it was the most-viewed fight on DAZN so far.”
It’s no surprise that Floyd Mayweather is interested in fighting him, even if it’s just for an exhibition. This fight will generate a lot of interest and since retiring from professional boxing in 2017, Floyd Mayweather fought in an exhibition bout in 2018 when he took on Tenshin Nasukawa and knocked him out early in the fight. That fight took place in Tokyo, Japan and Mayweather reportedly made millions for it.
