Japan is one of the most visited countries of the world, and tourists have a handful of options to stay during their trips in the beautiful Asian country, be it a modern multi star hotel, the famous compact capsule hotels, or a traditional Japanese inn known as ‘ryokan’. But what about the game enthusiasts? With the global rise of popularity in Esports, Japan has opened its first Esports dedicated hotel, and it is a treat for the eyes!
Back in September 2019, the ‘e-ZONe — 電脳空間’ (denno kukan, which roughly translates to ‘cyber space’) was announced to be opened in Osaka. With the construction underway, it was originally planned to be open to visitors by April 2020. However, the inauguration date had to be pushed back due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Now, e-ZONe Cyber Space has opened its door to the guests. The hotel is located in the geek culture district of Nipponbashi in in Osaka’s Naniwa Ward, which is also the birthplace of Capcom and SNK, two of the most famous game developers of the world.

e-ZONe Cyber Space: a heaven for gaming and esports enthusiasts
The building, which is aesthetically appealing, has a total of nine floors. The first three floors are dedicated to gaming and esports. Resembling a typical gaming cafe, the floors host more than 70 high end PCs and live streaming equipment, a no compromise approach to gaming and esports. However, only the first floor will host the major tournaments and events.
The rest of the floors are reserved for accommodation, with a total of 94 beds. From fourth to sixth floors, there will be capsule like beds for male customers, along with a small room for luggage.
The seventh floor is all about luxury. The rooms are larger in size, and have special accommodations, along with in room gaming PCs. The eighth floor is reserved to female guests only. The basement hosts the shower rooms.
The prices range from as low as ¥1000 ($9) for basic accommodation per night, while the luxury options rise to ¥8000 ($75). More information about e-ZONe Cyber Space is available in their official website here.
