The former WWE Champion admitted that he felt detached prior to the match. He also revealed that he is yet to watch the match back and the detached feeling means something for his future.

He said: “It was really bizarre. It’s taken me time to fully process what the experience was like because it wasn’t like a normal thing. I felt very out of body in it. When I’m wrestling, I feel everything and feel like I’m enjoying it. This was weird, I was out there, and it felt like I was detached.”

Daniel Bryan also describe the feeling to be very strange and revealed that he had never felt that way while being in a match ever before.

He added: “It was so strange that before the match started, I got this strange feeling like, ‘Oh no, is this what it’s like before you die? Am I going to die? Huh, well, okay.’ I don’t know why or how it happened, but it was unlike anything I’ve felt while wrestling.”

His fans would be devastated to hear the fact that he is actually considering to hang up his boots very soon and said that the feeling of detachment is certainly the reason behind it.

He said: “Maybe it was a sign that it’s time to let go of being a full-time wrestler. I’ve been trying to meditate on it and talk to my friends that I’m close with, like, ‘what is that?’ My contract is up relatively soon. I’m still trying to figure out what I’m doing with my life.”

His contract is reportedly expiring in September. His stint in WWE, battling with the injuries and comeback from his retirement is no less than a fairytale. So fans should enjoy the time he is there until he bids adieu to the squared circle.
