CSGO, aka Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, is one of the most popular, addictive games of all time. Anyone with the love of a good first person shooter knows its worth, and those who play the game regularly, know how much they really love it. Be it a casual gamer or a professional world champion, CSGO gets preference over anything, its always the answer. But, just how crazy do you need to be to get bitten by a dog and still complete your match?
That’s exactly the story of a professional CSGO player. A member of ‘CR4ZY’, a renowned Croatian eSports organization, was bitten by a dog when he took a short break between two maps. Even after the mishap, the player joined the game and continued playing.

Extreme mental strenght is a fundamental skill required to become a professional CSGO player, and one example was seen in a recent series between CR4ZY and Level Up Esports group of Serbia.
The bizarre incident was reported by head Coach Ivan “Johnta” Shevtsov, the head coach of CR4ZY, during the face off between the teams in the second group stage of Nine to Five #2, an online European tournament organized by Relog Media.

Following CR4ZY’s victory on the series opener map on Mirage, one of the CR4ZY players decided to take a break, and was bitten by a dog. While it is unclear that the dog was a stray or the player’s pet, what’s astonishing is, he returned to the game without any sign of dubiousness, and helmed his team win the best of three series.
“This game was crazy even outside of the server. One of our players got literally bitten by a dog during a break between maps as he had to go outside to do smth. But he handled it like a champ and continued playing like nothing happened.” Johnta tweeted soon after the match.

While Shevtsov didn’t reveal the identity of the player in question, the CR4ZY roster has five professionals- Sergey “Sergiz” Atamanchuk, Alexandr “Psycho” Zlobin, Dmitriy “SENSEi” Shvorak, Sergiy “DemQQ” Demchenko and Evgeniy “7oX1C” Motsevoy, and the unnamed player is one among them. It is also not known if the dog was rabid, or the current health condition of the attacked player.
“This match was our last before vacation…we had a good working period since early May when we got this roster and built good fundamentals. Now it’s time to refresh,” Johnta said after the win.
