Dakar 2024: Motorbike rider Carles Falcon dies at age of 45 following a crash in the 2nd Stage on January 8. Motorsport fandom is mourning his death; he scummed to injuries sustained in a crash earlier this month. Falcon was riding for the twin trail team and was 448 Kilometers into the second stage, he was just a few kilometers away from the end of the stage when he crashed and was immediately airlifted to the hospital.
His racing team confirmed the news on 15th January “This Monday, January 15, Carles has left us. The medical team has confirmed that the neurological damage caused by the cardiorespiratory attack at the moment of the accident is irreversible.”
“Carles was a smiling person, always active, who passionately enjoyed everything he did, especially motorcycles. He left us doing something that was his dream, racing the Dakar. He was enjoying himself, he was happy on the bike.”
Following the crash, Twin Trail said that the Falcon was “unconscious and without a pulse” after the accident but had been resuscitated by doctors.”
Falcon was taken to Al Duwadimi Hospital after the incident. Carles Falcon suffered cerebral edema due to the fracture of the C2 vertebra, as well as fractures in his Ribs, Left wrist, and collarbone.
The Motorsport world knows there will never be another Carles Falcon, Falcon was one of the most Jubiiant and polite men one can come across.

Great men Are missed but Good men are missed even more and the Catalan was both . He was a great rider and an even better Human being.
His team Twin Trail talked more about how good a person he was than his racing skills. they stated how Falcon made everybody around him laugh and was never restless or behaved rudely with anyone. Carles Falcon will forever remain in the hearts of Motorsports Fans and every other person he came across.
