The release of such a top star like Braun Strowman has been highly criticized by veterans and fans. It was the most shocking name in the list. He had recently main evented at WrestleMania Backlash pay-per-view against Drew McIntyre and WWE Champion Bobby Lashley.

It seems WWE is cutting down on the talents who are highly paid. That seems to be the case with The Monster Among Men.

His previous deal was a huge one as per the reports. It had ended in the summer of 2019, and he had recently signed another contract which would have kept him until 2023.

WWE sources claimed that Strowman’s contract was worth more than $1 million per year. He was said to have been very private about negotiating the contract until it was finalized.

The Monster Among Men had been with WWE since 2013. During his stint in the company Strowman, he earned several accolades including being a one-time Universal Champion, a one-time Intercontinental Champion, a two-time RAW Tag Team Champions and 2018 Men’s Money In the Bank winner.
