Anderson Silva eager to work with the Paul siblings

Anderson Silva, the former mixed martial arts superstar who returned to professional boxing after a gap of sixteen years with a split decision win against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr on 19th June, is open to working with Logan and Jake Paul.

The fight which took place at the Estadio Jalisco in Guadalajara, Mexico, saw Silva’s brilliance with the sparring gloves as he dominated Chavez Jr throughout the eight rounds to pick up the second victory of his three-match pro boxing career.

The former UFC middleweight champion, who parted ways with MMA after a spectacular career inside the Octagon, is now ready to replicate the same level of brilliance inside the squared circle and the Brazilian’s upcoming plans reflect the same notion.

Anderson Silva hints next fight against Logan Paul

Having defeated Chavez Jr, the former WBC middleweight champion who is considered to be one of the best boxers of his generation, Anderson Silva expressed that he is eager to share the ring with Logan and Jake Paul- the social media and YouTube celebrity siblings who have been making big names in boxing in recent times.

Revealing about the cordial relation he has with the Paul bros, ‘The Spider’ recently spoke to MMA Junkie about his plans to continue his boxing career with Logan and Jake, and even hinted that his upcoming match might be against the former.

“Wow – yes, absolutely. I respect both,” said Silva, “I have a great relationship with both brothers, and yeah, I think this is possible, too. That’s entertaining. It’s a fight, but it’s entertaining. Logan and his brother are amazing guys.”

The people like to talk a lot about the guys, but they’re very good people. I respect both, and I respect the sport. I think everything’s possible. I think it’s the next fight may be with Logan Paul, maybe,” the 46-year-old added.

The respect Silva has for the Paul brothers appears to be mutual as following his victory over Chavez Jr, Jake took to Twitter to congratulate the winner.

Jake, who was last seen registering a knockout win over Ben Askren, is slated to face Tyron Woodley up next, while Logan Paul recently made his exhibition boxing debut against Floyd Mayweather and became the first pugilist in history to not let ‘Money’ win a boxing match.
