Angel Reese made history on Wednesday night when she walked in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, and the WNBA star seemed pleased with her performance.
Reese became the first ever professional athlete to walk in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, which was held at Steiner Studios in Brooklyn, N.Y. The Chicago Sky forward wore angel wings and pink lingerie.
The show was streamed on various platforms including YouTube and Prime Video.
Reese said she worked with a modeling coach to “perfect my walk.” The 6-foot-3 former LSU standout sent a message to her critics after the event ended.
“that walk so NASTY. i thought a h** said sum,” Reese wrote on X.
Reese has been a polarizing figure ever since she and Caitlin Clark became heated rivals in college. She is often criticized by fans, but she has found even found ways to profit from people mocking her.
Reese knew there would be a wide array of opinions regarding her Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show appearance, and that likely only served as further motivation for her to do it.
