The former WWE star Brock Lesnar is no longer under the company’s contract. His last appearance for the company was at WrestleMania 36 when be lost the WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre. Now, apparently WWE is eyeing to make big plans for The Beast upon his return.

What are the plans for Brock Lesnar?

It noted that many people within WWE who are trying to save Brock Lesnar’s return for a big match against the current WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. Lesnar has been rumored to return to WWE for the upcoming SummerSlam pay-per-view in August but that has not been confirmed.

The early plans for the ‘Biggest Party of The Summer’ included The Beast Incarnate which means he was planned for a return and a potential match at the event. But, nothing has been made official as of yet.

Fans have been eager to see Brock Lesnar and WWE Champion Bobby Lashley in a bout, which is a dream match that never took place, neither in the squared circle or octagon.

There has been speculations for the two behemoths to go head to head and The Almighty had even expressed his desire to take on the former WWE Champion. Dave Meltzer on the Sunday Night’s Main Event podcast recently confirmed that match has not been planned for the event as of yet.

WWE Chairman Vince McMahon will make the call to bring The Beast back in the company but it is unlikely anytime soon. It has been also reported that personnels in the company are willing to bring back Lesnar for a feud with Roman Reigns when he is ready to feud with him.

Lesnar’s WWE contract reportedly expired last August and both the parties did not agree upon a new deal. Lesnar’s merchandise was removed from WWE Shop, but he has remained a member of the RAW roster. Though his deal expired last year, it’s always been expected that he will return to WWE eventually.

Recently Paul Heyman also teased a potential return of The Beast stating that he might make his return when WWE will start holding the live shows in front of the crowd from next month.

This year’s WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view is scheduled for Saturday, August 21 from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. The 1992 SummerSlam was taped on a Saturday in England, this year will mark the first time that the second biggest pay-per-view of WWE will air on a Saturday night. We will certainly see if Brock Lesnar makes his return at the event.
